Faias House

The clients wanted room to breathe. At Faias House, an apartment from the 1980s in Guia, Cascais, a four-bedroom layout became two generous bedrooms with larger bathrooms and more comfortable proportions. They wanted very little in the rooms, so what remained had to be worth keeping: comfortable, useful and made to last. Floors, bathroom finishes and fittings were chosen for their quality and durability, creating a calm base for everyday life.Storage was integrated into the architecture wherever possible, reducing the need for freestanding furniture and leaving more space around the things that matter. The house became simpler, more open and easier to live in.
