Infinity Apartment

An artist surrounded by visual stimuli all day wanted the opposite at home: a place to rest the mind. At Infinity Tower in Lisbon, we turned a three-bedroom apartment into a one-bedroom home with an office, reshaping it around how the couple wanted to live and work. The existing wood floor and built-in elements were preserved and adapted, creating a quiet base for everyday life and a small art collection. Wood, cork, leather, wool and linen add warmth. Lighting was kept minimal and carefully positioned so that what you notice is the light itself — on a wall, a table or a chair — rather than the fitting.Character comes from a few distinctive pieces, including a Sérgio Rodrigues chair, alongside furniture chosen for its originality and craftsmanship. The result is calm without becoming anonymous: enough quiet for the art, and enough character to belong to the people who live there.
